My sisters and I had a great time with our wonderful tour guide Jennifer! Such fun and laughter with only a little sibling shenanigans. Would love to do the other tours provided by San Diego Walks. Not just for tourists, us locals enjoyed and even learned a new thing or two.

Can’t help but highlight one of our favorites on National Hotdog Day - @barriodogg. We recently visited helping out on a food tour from LA and just can’t get enough of the delish dogs and amazing agua frescas. Their attention to detail, carefully chosen ingredients and lovely staff ensure a great experience. Find them in Barrio Logan, Petco Park (have to have a dog at a ball game, right?) and newly in San Antonio, TX.

You just never know what you’ll see walking around Balboa Park. Photo shoots are common, and while some are seasonal (graduations, holiday photos), some are evergreen (weddings, quiñceaneras). Congratulations to this beautiful couple!

Located in Ingram Plaza, this flagpole was originally at the entrance to the Naval Training Station (later Center) when it was commissioned in 1923. The plaza is named after Osmond Ingram, the first American sailor to die in World War I when his ship was attacked by a German sub in 1917. He was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously for his attempt to save his ship and fellow sailors.
Now known as Liberty Station, the Naval Training Center oversaw the basic or advanced training of over two million men and women over the course of seven decades.
Today we honor the men and women of all the branches of the military who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Our hearts were full last week when we got word that our former guest, Christopher, received an "A" for a class presentation he did on what he learned on tour. He took notes when he visited last December, put together the poster board shown here, and a presentation (we bet it was lively as he was a delight) and we're thrilled we could be a part of his learning journey. Congrats Christopher on a job well done! 👏 🎉
