My sisters and I had a great time with our wonderful tour guide Jennifer! Such fun and laughter with only a little sibling shenanigans. Would love to do the other tours provided by San Diego Walks. Not just for tourists, us locals enjoyed and even learned a new thing or two.

If you were from San Diego on Monday, your social media feeds would have been filled with images of the sunset that night. Here are ours from Little Italy.

More Day of the Dead decorations, featuring a display in Old Town, a canine friend posing in Old Town, and the Coronado Public library. May you enjoy this day celebrating those you love who are no longer here, and may their memory bring you peace and joy.
Many locations around San Diego have built alters in honor of the Dia de los Muertos celebrations today and tomorrow. The Day of the Dead is an opportunity to remember and celebrate those who have left us and visit our world on November 1st and 2nd. Alters shown here are from @mingeimuseum in Balboa Park, Fiesta de Reyes in Old Town, @coronadopubliclibrary in Coronado and the Immaculate Conception Church in Old Town.
Happy Halloween everyone. Here are our fellow San Diegans being very clever with the decorations and costumes. Images include the decorated animals on the @balboaparkcarousel, land shark sighting in Coronado, and a few guests enjoying the food at @littlefrenchiesd in Coronado.
This is the time of year where lots of people visit Old Town after dark. Here are nighttime views of Old Town spots we see on our daytime tour. Locations include Old Town Market, the Immaculate Conception Church, the Derby Pendelton house, the Whaley House (we don't see this view on tour but couldn't resist trying to get a photo of an orb. Alas only got a spooky moving human.....or is it??), along San Diego Avenue, El Campo Santo (the cemetery) and the tree in front of Trattoria Don Pietro.
On several of our tours we'll find gopher holes, lots of them. Gophers can be very destructive critters who build extensive tunnels and can ruin a lawn or garden seemingly overnight. Rarely do we see them, however, until now! This little guy really wanted a specific leaf, and eventually got it. Seemed completely focused on the mission and unperturbed by a bunch of people spying on his activities.
